Creating the Future - KPRU Moving Forward to EMI
English is one of the most important skills in the 21st century, so having good command in English will provide people with better opportunity in their future career. The university as a procedure of human capital need to be curtain that its graduates meet the requirements of the future society. To achieve that goal, the lectures who are one of the important factors in the production process should be able to conduct classes using English and new teaching technology.
We, therefore, organized a workshop titled “Using English and Modern Technology as Media of Instruction (EMI)’’held on September, 4 – 5 2018 at the main campus of Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, our workshop was honored by the professor from University of Southampton, UK, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alasdair Archibald as the main guest speaker who will surely help the lectures meet the expected goal and also push them forward to produce the quality graduates for the future together with speaker assistants who are capable of leading classes in English. There are over 200 participants attended this activity, moreover; all of them had the opportunity to exchange their knowledge as the teachers to other teachers and lecturers from many institutes such as primary schools, Rajabhat University from almost the country, and the famous university of Thailand, Kasetsart university.
