Indonesia Cultural Night 2025
On the evening of September 14, 2025
Dr. Chadaporn Chotiradapa, Acting Head of the Office of International Relations and ASEAN Affairs, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, attended the “Indonesia Cultural Night 2025” on behalf of the university at the cinema, 7th floor, Siam Square One, Bangkok.
This participation aimed to promote cultural ties between Thailand and the Republic of Indonesia, while also serving as a valuable opportunity to exchange cultural experiences, strengthen academic networks, and further enhance international relations activities of the university.
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Rachmat Budiman, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Thailand, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered remarks highlighting the close diplomatic relations between Thailand and Indonesia over the past 75 years, as well as the future collaborative activities that will continue to strengthen the ties between the two nations.
On this occasion, Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University presented a souvenir to the Ambassador of Indonesia in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Thailand–Indonesia diplomatic relations. Since 2015, the University has actively engaged in academic exchanges with educational institutions in Indonesia, including student and staff mobility programs, as well as cultural and artistic collaborations, alongside sustained diplomatic cooperation with the Embassy of Indonesia in Thailand.
This year’s Indonesia Cultural Night marked a special milestone, celebrating its 10th anniversary. The event featured 19 performances from various Indonesian cities, showcasing renowned cultural traditions. Highlights included cross-cultural performances that blended Indonesian music with well-known Thai songs such as Yam Yen and Schooner (Thai–Indonesian versions), as well as traditional Indonesian instrumental showcases. The vibrant atmosphere immersed the audience in the charm of Indonesian culture, creating the impression of traveling through Indonesia itself.
The event was graced by Ambassadors, educational leaders, heads of governmental and international organizations, and distinguished guests from both countries. The evening was filled with warmth, friendship, and cultural harmony. It also served as a meaningful farewell to the Ambassador of Indonesia to Thailand, who will conclude his tenure in September.
